Can you tell me about that? Because, yeah, one of your songs is called Free of Swords.

Yeah. Yeah. This is really exciting, by the way. Yeah. Yeah. I think I was introduced to tarot maybe like a year or two ago. And since then, I've kind of been slowly diving into the world a little bit more. I think like from early on, like spirituality. as like kind of a whole has been always in my life like my mom's culture she's Maori so yeah native New Zealander um so connection to the land and the ancestors and the energy has always been um really big sorry

do you have like tarot cards or some cards in the Maori culture or not at all uh divination

I can't I can't there's like it's all I don't think there's like a soul kind of divination or anything. I mean, there's like religion within it, but it's all kind of from like the connection to people or family and the connection to the land. Everything comes from the land. So I think from there, it's just kind of where I learned to be, to trust like external source, to find comfort or guidance from it.

And how did you find tarot? It was like through a tarot reading or a friend show you?

No, yeah, my last girlfriend showed me, of course.

of course, yeah, as, you know, most guys probably get into it. And she would read my tarot and I just found it really interesting. But also, like, we connected through that. Yeah. Found connection through that. So, um, That was another reason why we kind of did it.

I can see through numerology that you have an interest for all the esoterical, metaphysical, spirituality, religion subject. Because people which are born on the 25th, usually they are really connected to all that subject.

Nice. Yeah. Well, what really struck me into your numerology chart is usually artists are life path number three, but you are life path number six. And normally you meet like a medical field or therapist in that life path. It's not really for artists because life path number six, it's really for people which are really connected. to their emotions, vulnerability also. And they love to helping the vulnerable to be the people, you know, when someone has a problem, they come to you. And so, okay, maybe it's the time for the cheesy question. Yes,

No, definitely now is like, you know, when I or me and my band make music, like a very important part of the process is, you know, understanding who you're talking to. Yeah. Although it doesn't need to be the whole, take up like too much space. Like, I think for me. When I started writing it was very simple it was just like because I loved it and because I was quite shy when I was growing up as well, so it was a way, it was a form of communication for me. Well, next year for 26, it's going to be a special year for you. It's going to be a year because in the numerology, there are nine cycles and next year is going to be your ninth year. Year number nine and year number nine is a year of conclusion. You have some things that you have to let go and new things that come to you so usually when you are an artist it's It can be like, I'm really interested to maybe create something new, to maybe create some new materials. So you have the music right now and you write songs. So, well, maybe you can write, I don't know, poetry, a book, something else. But you can be interested by a new subject. of like always in pursuit of um creating it especially for me like creating for the sake of creating yeah is a big mantra of mine um but because I'm in a band as well like we're always just kind of collaborating and and creating I think um that's just kind of a huge practice in my life is kind of to try and constantly work the muscle but in terms of like writing um in different mediums like yeah definitely would love to do anything creative kind of i'd love to just be at the end of my life just look back and have all of these little things yeah that i've done you know hopefully well but um

but yeah that's yeah um because next year you have like a lot of collaborations um and maybe you can also have a new approach of your art of your style so if you want i don't know try something new it can be a good time uh in your music uh but yeah right now it seems like also yeah i think you are in a promotions uh tour right now so maybe that's why we have like that card uh eight of wands uh place here it's like everything's goes so fast and i i think you are like maybe uh you change a city each Two days, I think, something like that. But free of pentacles, it's when you have... such a good collaborations between the both of you and it's when you know each of you are maybe like creating their solo career going through their own journey but it's just keep keep the band more interesting more and more interesting so it's really important for you to have your own solo career to do your own thing and create that together to create something new together so yeah Cool. And last question, did you use tarot to write your lyrics for your album?

Well, the song Three of Swords was one of the last songs on the album, and it's the ending song of the album. And I wrote the lyrics before I named it Three of Swords, and as I was writing the lyrics, that card kind of kept popping in my head because I think I was reading a lot. Um, at that time and, and that card just kept popping in my head constantly. And I was, I told Jackson who I worked with, I was like, can we name, we should name it three of swords. And he was like, cool. And I was like, cool. And that's it.
