Description

In December 2001, a fire broke out at the Hôtel du Palais in Paris, resulting in the tragic deaths of four individuals, including Scottish tourist Marysia Lewis and her boyfriend, Jason Maxwell. The arsonist, 39-year-old Bruno Prati from Paris, who had a history of arson and mental illness, was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison in February 2006.
