Description
D.B. Cooper is the alias of an unidentified man who hijacked a Northwest Orient Airlines flight on November 24, 1971. He boarded the plane in Portland, Oregon, and, during the flight to Seattle, passed a note to a flight attendant claiming he had a bomb. He then demanded $200,000 in ransom, four parachutes, and a fuel truck standing by in Seattle.
