FR// Impossible de parler de travail du sexe sans avoir Utsopi, l’Union des Travailleu(r)ses du Sexe Organisé.e.s Pour l’Indépendance, à notre micro ! On accueille Maxime, co-fondateur et ancien directeur de l’asbl et Lola, coordinatrice de l’asbl pour la Flandre. En amont de leur table ronde sur le travail du sexe à l’intérieur et l’extérieur des frontières et la décriminalisation du travail du sexe notamment pour les personnes migrantes, on leur a posé 1001 questions. Une interview bilingue qui devait durer 30 minutes et que nous avons dû abréger après 45 minutes passionnantes. Ecoutez nos échanges avec cette association qui a joué un rôle déterminant dans la dépénalisation et la légalisation du travail du sexe en Belgique.

We welcome Maxime, co-founder and former director of the organization and Lola, coordinator of the organization for Flanders. Before their round table on sex work inside and outside borders and the decriminalization of sex work, especially for migrants, we asked them 1001 questions. A bilingual interview that was supposed to last 30 minutes and that we had to cut short after 45 fascinating minutes. NL// We kunnen het niet hebben over sekswerk zonder Utsopi, de Unie van Sekswerkers Georganiseerd voor Onafhankelijkheid, aan onze microfoon te laten! We verwelkomen Maxime, medeoprichter en voormalig directeur van de vereniging, en Lola, coördinator van de vereniging voor Vlaanderen. In de aanloop naar hun panelgesprek over sekswerk binnen en buiten de grenzen en over de decriminalisering van sekswerk, stelden we hen 1001 vragen. Een tweetalig interview dat 30 minuten zou duren en dat we na 45 boeiende minuten moesten inkorten. Luister naar onze uitwisselingen met deze vereniging die een bepalende rol heeft gespeeld in de decriminalisering en legalisering van sekswerk in België.
