Description

What does it mean to survive horror and still choose to turn your pain into strength — for others?

In this deeply moving episode, I have the honor of welcoming Mona and Fabrice - a duo in life and in business - the minds behind KezaCréation, a creative and branding agency committed to supporting women entrepreneurs. One a survivor of s*xual violence, the other a survivor of the Tutsi g*noc*de in Rwanda, they share how their journeys led them to find each other, to rise, hand in hand, and to build a project rooted in purpose and justice.

We explore :

âž° Their personal battle to move through trauma,
➰ The pivotal role they played in each other’s healing,
âž° Their decision to fully commit to supporting marginalized communities, through their life and their business,
âž° The moment they chose to stop staying silent and speak up, even if it meant losing clients, but never their values.

With an “enraged tenderness,” Mona and Fabrice show us that you can survive for yourself and act for others.

Get ready for a conversation that’s as powerful as it is moving.

What is BAZ: Voices of Defiance?

It’s the podcast of invisible voices revolutionizing the world.

I’m Shama, and I created this space to amplify the voices of minoritized entrepreneurs, artists, and creators who, despite the obstacles, dare to make themselves visible and impact the world.

Every other Tuesday, I invite you to discover stories of resistance and transformation through interviews and solo episodes. This podcast is for those who, like me, dream of challenging the status quo and using their voice as a tool for change. Together, let’s explore how our projects can contribute to a different world—because yes, the world needs us.
