Description
As early as the 1950s, in keeping with the times, various authors and filmmakers looked to the future. Over the decades, many visionaries depicted a highly connected, gadget-laden lifestyle that the average person would become accustomed to. As if the hyper-futuristic projections of previous generations on the 2000s weren't extravagant and far from the reality of the mid-20th century, it seemed that humans would become one with technology, and thus forever bound and constantly attached to the machines they had naturally developed and indulged in.
