Description

In this podcast, I welcome 2 brilliante women: Olga Oleksenko, founder of Strong and Precious the charity art foundation supporting Ukrainian jewelry art; and Ivette Nersesyan-Stephanopoulos, president of the Armenian Jeweler Association.

Stendhal wrote, "Beauty is only the promise of happiness." It is with this philosophy that Strong and Precious and the AJA, through the beauty of the jewelry creations of Ukrainian and Armenian designers, convey a powerful message of resilience.

Olga Oleksenko and Ivette Nersesyan-Stephanopoulos discuss the creation of Strong and Precious and the AJA, the missions and development of these associations, the competitions, and, above all, the incredible creativity of the jewelers.

These associations were hosted by GemGeneve, which offered them an exhibition space and media exposure, thus providing a way to make their voices heard.

Then, these incredible women tell us about their journeys:

Olga Oleksenko has always worked in the luxury sector, and started in the world of perfume before becoming an Van Cleef & Arpels Ambassador (Ukraine), and jewellery insider Founder of Strong & Precious Art Foundation.

Ivette Nersesyan-Stephanopoulos has joined Tiffany & Co. as director of high jewelry,Americas. Previously, she was De Beers Group’s vice president of Code of Origin and trade services. She has also held executive positions at the Gemological Institute of America and David Yurman and provided strategic consulting services.

Their advice :

Olga Oleksenko : find the goal which you are afraid off. Find the goal which is scaring you so much that you are trembling . This trembling will give you the energy to go forward.

Ivette Nersesyan-Stephanopoulos : make sure that you desire to do never accept a job just for a job. If you have a job and are working for an organization but you don’t believe in what you do but it is not the place to be. Because your self satisfaction and your productivity would be so much better, when you are realign with your purpose

Good listening and stay Brilliante !
