Description

Less than 0,5% of the fresh water worldwide is available for human consumption. This puts in perspective our vision of an infinite resource! We all learned about the water cycle but it gets real when we observe the scarcity we have in more and more regions of the world.

Quentin talks to us about the 4 major water challenges we face today, as well as some of the solutions that can be set up to try and improve our ways of managing water in:

  • Buildings and industries (4 billion people will live in water stress by 2030)
  • Infrastructure (35% of the water transported in pipes is wasted in leaks)
  • Food (70% of fresh potable water is used to produce food)
  • Water scarcity (2.2 billion people lack access to clean water at home)

His company, Aliaxis, is committed to these 4 water pillars to try and improve lives on the short term, and sustainability on the long run.

You will hear about innovations in the water segment, and also some quick and concrete advice on how to do better at home!
