Description
Four baby goats from Farm Adventures, an Iredell County mobile petting zoo, are rabid or presumed rabid. The animals appeared at events in seven counties between July 28 and August 27 β including one in Mecklenburg on July 30. That one was a private event, which means there's no venue to publish and no list anyone can call. If you or your child had contact with baby goats at a petting zoo in that window, call Mecklenburg County Public Health at 980-314-9400 for a risk assessment. Plus: Charlotte's data center moratorium expires November 5th β 65 days, and still no draft ordinance. UNC Charlotte sets an enrollment record for the third straight year with more than 33,000 students. And the Yiasou Greek Festival is ten days out.
