Description
Voting has already started in North Carolina, and every ballot carries three constitutional amendments. One of them orders limits on local property tax increases but doesn't say what those limits are, and it arrives in the middle of Mecklenburg County's 2027 revaluation, with median home values up about 15%. We read the amendment word for word and hear both sides. Also: City Council's curfew vote Monday, a demolition order for uptown's historic Builders Building, Charlotte FC's unbeaten run ending, and the last day of Festival in the Park.
