Description
Charlotte-Mecklenburg's school board voted Tuesday night to release a summary of the Crystal Hill investigation β the process, the lessons learned, the governance recommendations. Not the costs. Meanwhile the contract itself is already public: a law firm at $275 an hour, a public relations firm at up to $450, and a signing date four weeks before anyone knew there was an investigation. Plus: ICE arrests in Charlotte have hit 1,580 this year, six times the 2024 figure, with nearly 40% of those arrested carrying no charges and no convictions. Six Flags is moving its headquarters to Texas. And Friday is the last football at Bank of America Stadium for a while.
