Welcome to the Compassion City Church podcast, and we are so thankful you're here! This is week three of our summer sermon series on Heaven called "The Truth About Heaven (Our Real Home)", and this message is delving into the rich symbolism of Jewish wedding traditions, where we uncover the beautiful analogy of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, as described in Revelation 19:7-9. This biblical teaching illustrates the betrothal and preparation period, mirroring the Church's current state as we await the return of Jesus, our bridegroom. The Marriage Supper signifies the consummation of the relationship between Christ and His followers, marked by joy and the fulfillment of God's promise. As believers, we are called to live a life of righteousness, actively preparing for this event by inviting others to partake in the joy of salvation and celebrating our faith in anticipation of the ultimate union with Christ.
