Annabelle Lepièce will present the recent European Commission's decisions on aid to airports and airlines and the new European exemption decision on services of general economic interest. She will address the status of the revision of the Commission Guidelines on aid to airports and airlines and other relevant State aid framework, such as the General Block Exemption Regulation that allows Member States to grant operating aid and investment aid to airports without prior notification to the European Commission. Finally, she will share practical tips to ensure the legality of public support to airports and to develop new routes or partnerships between airports and airlines.
