Description

« It became too heavy, I just knew way too much, so I eventually decided to quit my job. »

Let's talk about Climate Tech!

This week, we are thrilled to welcome Lubomila Jordanova, Founder & CEO of Plan A, to answer Yacine Sqalli 's questions.🎙
On top of being a talented entrepreneur, Lubomila has also cofounded the Greentech Alliance, is part of the Obama Foundation Leaders, the MIT Under 35 Innovator prestigious list, and a LinkedIn Top Voice.

Plan A in one sentence: software for businesses for carbon accounting, carbon reduction, and ESG reporting.

Founded in 2017, the company helps other companies to decrease their carbon emission, compile with environmental laws, and overall participate to protect our Dear Planet Earth.

Plan A raised a total of 20M€ (from Softbank, HV Capital, Demeter, and others) has 120 employees across Berlin, Munich, Paris, and London, and counts more than 1000 clients in various industries.

Based in Berlin, Lubomila came to Paris a few weeks ago for the 10th anniversary of France Digitale, where she met with Yacine. Together, they discussed her entrepreneurial journey so far, why and how she cofounded Plan A, and what was it like to raise funds or convince clients as a Woman in Tech back in 2016 when people were not as aware as today about the Climate crisis.

In this episode, they talk about:

🎙What she realized on a beach in Morocco and what she could do about it

🎙How long it took her to officially launch Plan A

🎙The lack of awareness of Climate Change back in 2016

🎙How they pivoted 2 times

🎙How they convinced companies to work with them

🎙Few examples of how they help companies to decarbonize

🎙The situation for Women in Tech and especially in Climate Tech

🎙The Give-back culture

Sit tight and listen carefully! 🎧
