From Montreal, de Montréal, introducing people, je vous présente des gens, met on a, rencontré sur un, dance floor, pour parler de, to talk about, dance. Okay, so this is episode 3, and I'm meeting with Marc Elliott. I met him after Nina, so this whole project is about talking to... these people I met on dance floors. It's been around two years now and I would say that when I cross paths with you, every time we say hi to each other on a dance floor, every time, you have this very beautiful welcomeness. You know, some people might say, oh, you look like you're more quiet, you know, you're more doing your own thing compared to Nina. But I feel you're very vast. It's like you're so there, you know?
- Marc-Elliott
Hmmm...
- Ludivine
So we're going to play this game that we've been playing with Pavel and Nina. So you're my third guest. And we have this question that I'm going to ask and that is going to generate this convo between us.
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah. I want to start by saying that, well... I have a massive smile on me right now because you put into words something that is so, it's not even central to who I am, it's who I am. I have a very, people say calm energy, it's true. The more that I move through life, especially because of the dance floor, I feel more and more centered. But the more centered I am, the vaster I feel. And that vastness is always, I wouldn't say protective towards the people that I love, but it's like, I've got you. You're okay with me. And it's understated. I don't have to say it, but it's how I feel. And thank you for expressing that. Thank you.
- Ludivine
Well, thank you for being that energy, right? As you said, it's about doing the work. And I think dancing is part of what elevates you. And so let's do this. Let's see what question we're going to get you and I...
- Marc-Elliott
Let's go!
- Ludivine
To have this conversation. Okay. So the question is, what is your best memory related to dancing in a techno setting so far?
- Marc-Elliott
Wow. That was immediate. Very clear. So this was in St. Martin. SXM festival. I think it was either my first or second festival. I think it was my first festival with Nina. And, you know, I met Nina also on the dance floor. So the dance floor for us is really our, it's almost like our wedding space.
- Ludivine
I was going to say church.
- Marc-Elliott
I was dancing with her. Typically we're the only ones on the dance floor for a while. And so it's just her and I, and all of a sudden I started to get this massive feeling of deja vu. And these feelings of déjà vu are more than déjà vu for me. They would become full-blown experiences of something I've dreamt before, or you can call it a parallel reality. But essentially, I looked at her, and it's as if all these different versions of me and of her throughout the universe collapsed into this one moment. And I felt this gravitational... pull and I looked at her and then it happened. And for about three minutes or so, which felt like forever, we were in this eternal dance that we've danced forever. And then it just faded away. And I just, I think I even teared up after that moment. For me, that was my, yeah, that was my first understanding of what she meant for me, truly, but also how reality works. from a quantum perspective, because I've always been also interested in from scripture to quantum physics to try to understand what is our place here. And the dance floor... Brought a visceral experience. What, you know, workshops and ayahuasca and other things never brought to me. But the dance floor brought that for me. So that was a very, very clear memory.
- Ludivine
And can I ask you, like, on the timeline, when was that? Like, years ago? Was it?
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah, I'll tell you. I think it was 2017 or 2019. I think it was 2017. It was before the...
- Ludivine
COVID.
- Marc-Elliott
It was before COVID and before St. Martin was hit by a massive hurricane that flattened the island for at least a year. 90% of the island was almost gone. And they rebuilt, and then we came back a few years later. But no, that's, yeah. Anyway, so I think it was 2017. I'm pretty sure.
- Ludivine
And can I ask you, at that point, how long had you been dancing on techno music and with Nina?
- Marc-Elliott
I would say about a year and a half. 18 months to two years max. Because we met in December 2015. And we danced our way through 2016. It was our best year ever. And 2017 in March was when we went to SXM. So that's the timeline.
- Ludivine
It's so interesting because when Nina had a convo with me, So she said that she... went into a dance event in 2015 with her son and that's how she started dancing...
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah, yeah!
- Ludivine
That's how it started for her and so you're like kind of picking up on that timeline
- Marc-Elliott
Yes!
- Ludivine
And explaining you know like how you guys met and then how it evolved and then that crazy beautiful moment that you just described you know like that you said it's so interesting that you've you you said three minutes that felt like eternity
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah yeah
- Ludivine
And it's it's so strange to me that you would know that it's around three minutes but then it's also eternity right like it's because i was thinking you know you and me let's say we know this and most people know this too but to hold a state of great consciousness let's say through meditation or a prayer it's it's harder than people think because our brain is always going elsewhere right like that's the whole purpose to meditate is to focus and to have that focus without having any disturbance from any other thoughts...
- Marc-Elliott
Yes!
- Ludivine
But you were clearly focused into this whole time warp you know as you said you felt like almost in a parallel universe or a parallel, parallel life, everything kind of blended together, the past, the future, the now, the here, the there, you know, like everything was just, you know, in that moment. And that moment, three minutes is an eternity when we think about it, right?
- Marc-Elliott
Yes, yes!
- Ludivine
It's so long, you know? And wow, that's a very powerful memory. Wow.
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah, it really shaped really the trajectory of, you know, my own journey on this planet, but especially with Nina and I. I understood the, it's almost like we had to meet no matter where we were on this planet at this time. We had to come together. And the following years, which brought a lot of challenges, not between her and I, but... Facing the world and going beyond who we truly are, you know, required a love that I had never experienced before that transcended my own traumas. And so those moments, especially that one, just sealed it for me. It's like I know who I am. I know who she is. And let's go for it. And challenges just became details, really.
- Ludivine
Would you say that it... brought you this truth you know like when we feel that something i i like to use the word proof you know like sometimes it's just so powerful that you can't deny it you know like there's no way...
- Marc-Elliott
Yes!
- Ludivine
Of saying oh no it didn't happen i hallucinated it you know like it's it's just...
- Marc-Elliott
Yes!
- Ludivine
So clear you know like i can't say that it's not real it is very real i felt it, I saw it, I witnessed it. Right?
- Marc-Elliott
Yes!
- Ludivine
And that's exactly what you described in that moment. Like every part of your soul, your body, like everything, you just knew. You were in the knowledge, you know, in that big capital letter.
- Marc-Elliott
Well, it's funny. You're really saying these terms that I've been contemplating for a long time. Capital K knowledge. You know, like I know that I exist. I know that you exist. It's beyond proof, right? I can't say I believe that you exist. No, I know you exist. So in that moment, I went from, I believe in this relationship to, I know this relationship.
- Ludivine
I know this relationship. I know this knowledge. And it's interesting because you talked about the scriptures and I know you and I, you know, like we also speak French and we've talked about this, but in French, the word is connaissance. Okay. And so in French, it means to co-birth. Right.
- Marc-Elliott
Oh, my God.
- Ludivine
It's beautiful. And in the scripture, there is two trees in the Garden of Eden. There is the tree of life and there is the tree of knowledge. So the tree of co-birthing, right?
- Marc-Elliott
Wow...
- Ludivine
And so it's very powerful what you just described, feeling with Nina, meeting her, knowing in this moment that you guys would make me... make it through together in this life but also that you needed to meet to become who you are in this world and contribute all that you are in this world right?
- Marc-Elliott
Totally?
- Ludivine
So it's it's amazing and i'm so not surprised that this conversation is going to that level you know
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah of course yeah i'm not surprised either. You're such an amazing, beautiful soul, sister.
- Ludivine
And coming back to the dance floor, that's what it is, right? It's the dance floor. It's that church, you know, the church for you and Nina is the church for all of us. That's where we all connect.
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah...
- Ludivine
And I like to say, I remember, you know what, I'm going to share one of my memories, I guess. But strangely enough, it's a very, it's almost like, you know, something that I could have forgotten. But it's coming back to me now in our conversation. I remember one day someone, you know, we were kind of playing a game and that person said, if you had one minute left, you know, on this planet, what would you do and why? What do you think I said?
- Marc-Elliott
What? Dance?
- Ludivine
I would dance. I would dance. And I would dance because it's the most powerful thing for me. Yes, of course. But who am I? I'm... part of this whole thing...
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah...
- Ludivine
Is energy right and it's the it's the activity it's the it's the the action that i can actually do and and produce in this world and i always like to use the word contribute that will elevate the whole energy itself you know like it's it's for that big One right?
- Marc-Elliott
Wow!
- Ludivine
And that's it that's what i would do i would dance my way out.
- Marc-Elliott
Amazing. And I knew right away what the answer was.
- Ludivine
Yes, of course.
- Marc-Elliott
I probably would do the same.
- Ludivine
Of course. Anyways, thank you so much. This was amazing.
- Marc-Elliott
Thank you.
- Ludivine
It was, as I said, I'm not surprised that we went that high, you know?
- Marc-Elliott
Yeah, yeah.
- Ludivine
In the vibration, and that's who you are. That's who you are.
- Marc-Elliott
So that's. That's where you and I connect as well. So it's a natural place. So I knew we were going to go there. So thank you so much.
- Ludivine
Amazing. When Marc-Elliott describes his. clearest memory related to his presence in an EDM setting, being with Nina, feeling as if they both were projected in what could have been a wormhole, he says, it was my first understanding of how reality worked from a quantum perspective, because I was always interested, from scripture to quantum physics, to try to understand what is our place here, and the dance floor brought a visceral experience. What workshops, ayahuasca, and other things never brought to me, the dance floor brought that for me. Following his words, I say, if that's not a life-changing experience, what is? In the previous episode, we saw that our human bodies are built to enjoy music, and that being on the dance floor bends our timeline by giving us healthier years as we grow older, according to a linear perspective. But quantum physics doesn't present time as being a straight line. And when I ask AI the correlation between quantum physics and time, here is what it proposes to me: "Quantum physics reveals that time can be reversed, merged into entangled loops, and may be a marriage emerging from quantum entanglement, rather than a fundamental component of reality. a dynamic, malleable variable rather than a fixed and determined flow." Quantum entanglement is the idea that two particles can stay connected across vast distances, and then a wormhole is a tunnel or a bridge between two regions in space-time. Marc-Elliot and Nina, in that moment on the dance floor at SXM in 2017, they most probably met up with other versions of themselves existing in other space-times. The gravitational pull could have been a quantum teletransportation phenomenon, but whatever it was, it was above and beyond, beneath and below, there and then. Marc-Elliott also mentioned scripture, which are the books of the Bible, and I went on with connecting the dots with what he lived. how he described it, and Genesis, the Book of the Beginning, in which the tree of knowledge is presented as the reason for which mankind is separated from God. The fruit of that tree, biting it, it opened our eyes to good and evil, apparently introducing sin and mortality into the world, but also awakening our free will to embrace creation. its intricate natural laws, or rebel against it, and try to make it on our own in this existence, with no guidelines, no guides. Free will is about choice. As I said in French, the word knowledge is connaissance, which translates to co-birthing in English. Biting the fruit of the tree of knowledge, we separated from the Great One. and became aware of our own place in that whole. When we dig into the etymology of the word knowledge, we learn that it originates from the Middle English knowleche, built of the verb knowen, which means to perceive, to recognize, and of the suffix leche, which denotes action and derives from lach, which refers to the ideas of sport and play. Strangely enough, Marc-Elliott on the dance floor in 2017, there with Nina, sensing all that he did from that eternal three-minute time frame, feeling warped into a reality-bending experience, did that by perceiving through play and what he recognized then was how him and Nina were one with the Great One, and how their love was always there and will always be. No separation, no doubt, no sorrow, no struggle, no death, just it. Our existence is not about science or religion. It's about both, and about much, much more. It's about our connection with life through our will. And this whole idea of manifesting needs limits ourselves to that separation with life by originating and feeding from and off our ego. The One knows and because we are a part of it and have always and forever will be, why not trust that if we vibrate Love, all is well. When we meditate and try to manifest, we are confining the flow, trying to fix it in our desires. We're not abandoning ourselves to the variable and malleable dynamic of what is possible other than what is produced by our imagination. Even if our imagination is extra fertile. If we let ourselves be held by Life itself, if we abandon ourselves to a dynamic and malleable variable, that's Love. Marc-Elliott said his energy is about letting the people in his life know that he's got them, that they're okay with him. That's love. Love is about falling into a wormhole and trusting that the destination is already here, now, always have been, always will be, forever and ever. And dance floors, they can bring us back to being present, conscious of our oneness, united with energy itself, feeling existence powerfully by pulsing, coming back to perceiving through play. That powerful memory of an experience born of dancing brought him there. Not workshops, not ayahuasca, but movement did, music did. He said that that experience shaped the trajectory of his own journey on this planet, but especially with Nina and him. They had to come together to go beyond who they truly are, requiring a love that he had never experienced before, that transcended his own traumas. He concluded that that moment sealed it for him, that now he just knows. Love is a dynamic breath that comes and goes, that has never disappeared and has always been. We separated with it from our birth in this world, but ultimately, Life is always holding our human heart, to help it manifest our greatest state, which is to simply feel and be One. And dance can bring us back to that feeling of being held by Life, pulsing through us, life bending reality, to bring us back to perceiving Love through play.
