“How do you make questions?” Before we answer this question, we need to understand that there are different types of questions: yes/ no questions, wh- questions, and subject questions.
In today’s episode, Tim talks about subject questions. Subject questions are questions in which we don’t know who does the action the sentence talks about. For example:
Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?
In some subject questions, we don’t know how many people did an action:
How many people came to the party?
Subject questions are it’s true a bit less common than yes/ no and wh- questions, but they are an essential part of the language. It also happens that they are easy to learn, because they are constructed not like questions, but like statements.
