Reinvesting the traditional methods of manufacturing and natural dyes from the Philippines, Mariton Villnueva wishes to preserve and revive the textile know-how of the archipelago. 

She created the brand Himaya ("glory" and "praise" in the Isaya language) to distribute her clothing collections. According to her, it is the best tool to raise awareness of the precariousness of know-how and resources, while inviting to a more responsible way of life and consumption.
