Description
Emma Prempeh is a British artist with Ghanaian and Vincentian heritage based in London. She proposes painting as both a container and conduit, a site through which visions and subtle signs emerge to reconfigure our understanding of the self. Her practice draws from metaphysical inquiry to invoke and project memories of events, people, and places. In this episode, she talks about painter Lynette Yaidom-Boakye.
In The Love of Art podcast, artists are invited to speak about other artists that fascinate them (musicians, writers, filmmakers, actors, designers…) in a very personal way.
