๐ฟโบ๏ธ I'm thrilled to publish this conversation, that i had with my little cousin, Natey Ndlovu (Kinzounza). We talked about her family rituals centered around religious faith. We also talked about the different rituals she created through her life... From celebrating half birthdays to celebrating new year's eve in different states (with her siblings and husband), rituals seem to be a way for her to embrace a conscious way of experiencing life and relationships.
๐ฅณ We also explored national celebrations that's I look up to be national rituals made to create deep connection between people (collective egregore?), such as Marting Luther King Jr Day (3rd monday of january), President's day, Valentine's day, Saint Patrick's day (irish immigrants), April fool, Easter, Memorial day, Cinco de mayo, (hahahaha), Flag day, Juneteenth, Independence day, Summer camps/6 months away from christmas, Labour day, Halloween, Veteran's day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.
It was such a great moment! I feel so blessed to have family members all around the world! #multiculturalFamily
