Description

It's here. Episode number 200. And for this milestone I wanted to record something really special, it took me a little while to define what that would be but I think I chose wisely. The idea was to speak to someone who has had a hugely positive influence in my own leadership and career journey. I'm very glad I was able to briefly coax Stu Vincent out of retirement to join me on the podcast this week, because he ticks all of the above boxes and has been a great mentor to me over the years (pretty much from our first conversation, walking down a high street, I forget where, in 2011 on the way to a work Christmas do).

In this episode then, we talk about Stu's 38 year career in the Royal Air Force as an airframe engineer, his second career in the private sector, the memorable lessons and impactful moments that come to mind from his experiences, and what they each taught him about leadership along the way.

I say this in the episode but I'll say it again here: Thank you, Stu, not just for this episode but for the influence you've had on my career and the valuable lessons you've taught me over the last 15-odd years. I look forward to our Christmas meet-up soon 🍻
