Description

I'm joined by William Yeske, a US Army combat veteran, Social Entrepreneur, Business Owner, and Author of the book “Damn the Valley”. We talk about his background and experiences, from growing up in a small New England town, seeing behind the scenes of his father's business, and later transitioning to Motorsports and then the Army. Will generously tells stories from his military deployment experience, the challenges faced, the high casualty rate, and later his need to document those experiences for the historical record and how that writing experience helped in a lot of ways.

We also talk about the importance of discipline instilled in the military and its application in civilian life, hear about the contrasting serious and humorous aspects of military life, and William’s general perspective on life, leadership, and military service.
