Description
🗣️ "For me, silence is not an option."
Sciences Po had the honour of welcoming Nadia Murad, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, for a Grande Conférence.
Nadia Murad shared her powerful story, from surviving the genocide of the Yazidi people and enduring captivity under ISIS, to becoming a global advocate for survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking. Her voice is a call to action, reminding us of the importance of justice, dignity, and peace in post-conflict reconstruction : "The resilience of women alone is not enough. And it does not equal justice. Hope must be connected with resolve and actions from our governments, from the international community, and from individuals like each of you."
