She is an expert in AI ethics and governance, and is currently directing a public policy prototype for more transparent and explainable AI systems in Mexico. She was recognized as a key element of Mexico's AI ecosystem by Women in AI in 2022 and designed the first practical AI ethics guide for Latin American startups. She has led multiple initiatives to harness new technologies for social impact, including co-creating a blueprint for the Future of Work in León and directing the implementation of an AI system to improve public education. Claudia is a tech author, columnist, and speaker who has given a TED Talk on digitizing resilience in emerging economies.
