Description

Looking for Wonder; A Teacher’s Journey, by Anthony Rubino gives a fresh look at the importance of Arts education. This podcast is about my creative journey; the years I spent teaching art in the New York City's public schools. In these stories and essays,.I seek to reawaken the listener's sense of wonder and remind them, the study of the Arts is a treasure; we draw on its riches we draw on throughout our lives.

Recently, listeners have informed me that I am only a secondary player in my own memoir, and that my students are the real stars of the show. While painting and drawing in the art room, these young people amazed me with their artwork, amused me with their antics, and affected me with the profound things they said and did... I hope you enjoy the podcast. .
