Scott Sheridan and Tony Battista are running the desk solo today while Tom Sosnoff works a media circuit in New York — and the show is packed. The big story: Meta is reportedly in talks to rent Anthropic up to $10 billion in compute, which raises a genuinely uncomfortable question — when the hyperscalers competing on AI are also each other's biggest infrastructure customers, how do you actually define winners and losers? Scott and Tony get into AI infrastructure spending, whether it's become too big to fail, TSMC's raised capex guidance, and what this week's earnings from Alphabet and Tesla — followed by Microsoft and Meta next week — could signal for the entire AI trade. They also walk through Scott's trades of the week across Apple, Moo, Yen, and a new ADR, and answer caller and dog pound questions on short call verticals, small account strategy, covered call management, and algorithmic trading platforms.

AI infrastructure spending has quietly crossed into a category where the competitive dynamics no longer make obvious sense — hyperscalers are simultaneously each other's rivals and customers, with deals like Meta potentially renting billions in Anthropic compute blurring every traditional line. That's the backdrop for an earnings season where Alphabet, Tesla, Microsoft, and Meta all report within days of each other, and every call is going to be read as a proxy vote on whether the AI trade is priced for reality or priced for a dream. TSMC's latest capex guidance — $60 to $64 billion in 2026 alone, with the CEO signaling more ahead — frames the stakes clearly: this is now industrial policy, not just corporate spending, with Japan backing national Nvidia chip acquisition plans and the entire sector moving in lockstep. The risk Scott and Tony keep returning to is the domino problem — when every company's doing the same thing at the same scale, there's no diversification in the thesis, and a single stumble could reset valuations across the board.
