Androgenetic alopecia affects up to 20% of women by the age of 40. In a society where the hair is an important attribute of feminine beauty, alopecia can have a negative impact on self-confidence, thus significantly affecting the quality of life.

Alternative hair (hair toppers or wigs) can then be a really interesting option to deal with this pathology. However, it is still a very taboo subject, which deserves to be explored.

How to accept to live with alopecia? What solutions are available to us? Where to start when choosing a hair topper or wig? How to obtain a natural and undetectable result? What is the essential information to know before taking the step? How do you broach the subject with those around you or deal with any criticism?

This is the type of subject I cover in My Fake Hair Journey, the podcast that breaks the taboo of alopecia and hair toppers.
