Speaker #0Hello and welcome to the podcast Never Say Never. Today it's the first episode ever so I wanted to be in English but please know that some of the episodes will be in English, some of them will be in French and perhaps even some of them in Japanese. This is a place where I intend to share openly what I'm going through in my life and also invite guests to talk about a variety of topics. such as multicultural identity, life transitions, and I've been through many of them. Also, stepping out of our comfort zone, being a TCK, Third Cultural Kate, raising children abroad, and about entrepreneurship and so much more. And of course, if you have any suggestions or if you have any questions, you can always send me a message and I will be happy to talk about it during the next episode. Also, please note that this is not my regular voice. I just got a call and that's why now I'm recovering. But anyway, I didn't want to postpone this first episode any longer. So here I am. Never say never, right? I never thought I would do a podcast in the first place. And I never thought I would do a podcast with my broken voice. But never say never. And because it's our first episode, I would like to share a little bit about why this title and why this topic is so important to me. So this title, Never Say Never, comes from the title of my book, Ne Jamais Dire Jamais, a book that I published in French. And it is about a very strong friendship I had with my best friend. And then it's about... our friendship when she was alive and my life after her death and it's so it's about life and death and it's a beautiful story because even if it's about a sad topic it's also a lot of there is a lot of humor and it's a beautiful story full of emotions anyway it's a french book and this title was so important because it's really about you My philosophy in life, for example, when I met my best friend Vy, I never thought we would be friends. We were so different. And so, never say never, we became best friends. Another story, when I met my husband at the New Year's Eve party, I never thought I would find the man of my life at this party. Again, never say never. And there are so many stories like this in my life where I thought I would never become an entrepreneur. And here I am 10 years later, or I never thought I would be able to live again in Japan 20 years later. And here I am. So that's really, that's really important to me. And this is something that I think I would like to. shine this message in the world and also encourage you to go for your dreams, to step out your comfort zone, try new things, experience life. Because to me, when we experience like challenging things or when we experience crazy things or when we try new things, that's when I truly feel alive personally. So that gives you a little bit of a taste of what we're going to talk about. And I'm saying this, but in fact, I have no clear idea what we're going to talk about during this podcast, because this podcast is meant to live with me, with us. And so when you have questions, I will incorporate it in the podcast. And also I want to interview people, people that inspire me, people that... went through life transition, people who have a multicultural identity, for example, or people who moved abroad or who changed their life, changed career. So if you are interested in joining me and being part of this adventure, feel free to reach out. I'm available by email and all my contact details will be in the podcast information. So enough for today. I send you lots of love. Thank you for being here. Thank you for listening. If you enjoyed this first episode, please let me know, share the podcast, and yes, comment it, send me a message. Talk to you soon. Bye-bye.
