Description

I share a concrete situation lived this morning at the gym when someone gave me an unpleasant comment... (and for the second time!)

I share how I reacted and used my energies to live this situation in a fun way. I hope this example helps you see how in any given situation and especially in today's chaos, we can control our own energies. It impacts non only our well-being but also it has a ripple effect on others.

Hello everyone! Bonjour tout le monde,皆さん! Konnichiwa! Another live in English because I feel like this message is important. And today it is about what do I do when people or situations bother me. And I'm sure all of you, you know, even when we are the most patient person in the world, we always have situations that bother. bother us, right? Whether it's someone we don't know or someone we know and a lot of time it's people we know that bother us the most, our spouse, our children, our friends, our parents, our sister. So anyway, this morning I had a concrete example. I was at the gym, you know, I was a bit late so I rushed in the... it was a body combat lesson so... And I rushed in the room, I had my coat because it's still cold in Kobe, I had my coat, my bag, my water bottle, I put it on the side and I was starting my routine, the exercise. And then I noticed that the woman just in front of me was the woman who in the past already told me something. She already gave me some comments in the past, you know, when I was in the gym. So I kind of felt that, I don't know, I felt like she was going to tell me something. Anyway, that was a feeling. And because energy attracts like energy, perhaps I attracted that, the next situation that came just after. But at some point, she just turned around, she looked at me and she told me something. she told me next time put your things in the locker in Japanese and I said what in English because I I didn't really want to bother about you know about this conversation I just I just used the gaijin card which is the foreigner card I said what and I continued my routine and It made me frustrated and hungry because I had, of course, all this thought of, okay, why does she care about my stuff? It's in the corner. It doesn't bother her. There were other stuff, other person's stuff in the room. I was not the only one putting. Maybe my coat was taking a bit more place. Anyway, I had all this thought in my mind. And I decided to use this anger that I had in my body combat moves. And because we do punches and we do kicks. So I had a lot of energy. I was using my energy to just release the anger that I had. And it made me think about the following thing. We always have the choice, right? I could have the choice of just... I could just... be in victim mode and think about this the whole time. Oh, why? Why me? Why is she bothering me again? Blah, blah, blah. Or I could use this energy, like this anger that I had in me just to be more energetic. And I had a lot of energy and my punches were on point because I had this anger in me. But I was releasing it with the moves, you know? And so it felt good. And or, of course, there would be other options too, right? There would be other options or simply letting it go and just forgetting about it and just being in the present moment. But today, I didn't want to choose this option of just letting go. I chose purposefully just to use this energy, this anger, this level two energy to my benefit because... And a lot of time I talk about these energies because we are all being of energies. So we have seven energy levels in us. And the energy one and two is what we call the catabolic energy. This is the energy where you feel anger or frustration or sadness. And it is not negative. When you use it to your benefit, it is not negative. Because when you choose consciously to go there, like I did at the gym, to use this level, to this anger, to my benefit, it's okay, right? But if I... A lot of time, most of the time when we are in frustration or anger or sadness or disappointment, this is not something we choose. We go there unconsciously because we are at the mercy of a situation. Because something happens and we go there. Boom, boom, boom. It's not, there is no, we don't think. And it is normal. We are human beings. All of us go there in level one and two energy. And so... I won't talk about all energies right now because it would take much more time and I will probably share about it more in detail. If you're interested in, I'm thinking of organizing a free webinar or masterclass or however we want to call it, but a free presentation where I will talk more in detail, share more details about the energy levels and how can we use them to our own benefits. But But basically, I just wanted to share this example that what I do when people or situations bother me is I choose how I react. So I could have chosen to react and reply back to her in an aggressive way. I could. Or I could just let it go and just . don't think about it or I could do like what I did and use this energy this anger to fuel my move and fuel my exercise so there is no right or wrong way to do it but the key is to always choose okay which energy I will I'm going to use it and I feel like this is so helpful in any situation and that has been helping me for the past almost 10 years since I learned them Energy Leadership from IPEC, my coaching school, and it's helping me and helping my clients because we are no longer at the mercy, at the victim of what is happening outside of us. And we know in this today's world, there is so much chaos, there is so much negativity around us, there is so much All of us, we have our own problems, you know, our health issues, our stress at work, our personal relationship challenges. We all have different things going on in our lives, but the only thing we can control is our energies. And it is so important, first, to realize that, and second, to learn how to shift those energies to have a more fulfilled conscious life. And also, because it doesn't affect only our well-being, but it also affects the well-being of others because energy attracts like energy. It is contagious. It's even more contagious than the COVID. Trust me. So when you are in a certain energy, you know, you attract similar energies. That's why when you are mad or when you are angry, somehow everyone around you seems to be angry too. But there is no coincidence. There is no, I mean, it's normal. So yes, so that was just my share for today. I hope it was helpful. And feel free to send me a message if you want to know more about it. I will also let you know about the next webinar around energy leadership. Talk to you soon. Bye-bye. Mata ne. Sayonara.
