One of the objectives of the One Planet Fellowship Program is to build bridges between African and European scientists to promote the exchange of experiences, mutual enrichment, and the development of an international network to address climate and agricultural challenges.

In this episode, Alassan Assani Seidou and Janvier Egah share their impactful experiences in the framework of the program, including their stay in Europe through the Advanced Science Training (AST) organized by Agropolis Fondation with support from the European Commission.

Welcome to ONE PLANET VOICES, the podcast that amplifies the voices of the laureates of the One Planet Fellowship, a program dedicated to supporting future scientific leaders in climate change across Africa.

While Africa has contributed the least to historical greenhouse gas emissions, the numerous impacts of climate change are threatening its agriculture, water resources, and food security.

In response to this challenge, the One Planet Fellowship program brings together an intergenerational network of African and European researchers committed to finding sustainable solutions to combat climate change and safeguard our food and environmental security.
