Ia Ora Na everyone and welcome to this new episode of our Pacific Toks, where I engage in active conversations with my guests to talk about the challenges our world is facing and seeing them through a Pacific lens. 

For this new episode, I’m honored to share my conversation with H.E. President Whipps J, President of the Republic of Palau. In this episode, as he’s in Glasgow for the COP26 summit, we’re talking about climate change and the role the Pacific region can play in pushing for more action and commitments to tackle this existential threat. 

We’re also taking a step back and envisioning all the challenges that our region is facing right now including COVID and the geopolitical tensions in the region. Finally we’ll hear his view on Leadership and on hope while he’s helping his community to navigate those unique times we’re all living in.
