It's been quite a while that Marie Merlet aka Iko Chérie a french expatriate lighten up London and the rest of the world with her well crafted etheral pop. Before recording her wonderful ''Soft Centre'' Marie Merlet was involved in Monade (with Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab hall of fame , Lisbonne and Zooey. After her previous album ''Dreaming On'' released in 2015 suffice to say that the decade long wait was worthwhile courtesy of Pingipung records . A smashing label based in Hamburg and home of the great new album by Marie Klock and Anadol !!! A stamp of quality if you ask me!
