Brian Wilson, Laura Nyro, Carole King, Harry Nilsson, Badfinger and even Prince are one of the many geniuses from our pop legacy which is music have been compared to his musical creations. ''His music takes the best of radio and stellar classic pop records of the 60’s and 70’s and brings it into the present'' says Rough Trade - i couldn't have summed things up better - I remember fondly when i first discovered Liam Hayes ''Found a Litte Baby'' single in 1994 under the Plush moniker - since then Liam Hayes in his Chicago HQ has done things his own way and prioritized quality over quantity. On the cinematic. front Liam Hayes recorded an amazing soundtrack for Roman Coppola (A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III) and performed in Stephen Frears cult High Fidelity. Liam Hayes acclaimed new album - (for exemple he is on Uncut playlist) - is called Dancing Backwards - and guess it's a an existential masterpiece seeing the maverick composer and performer exploring his life experience. It was time for a Glimpse into the head of Liam Hayes -
