The course provides practical guidance on cytogenetic testing strategies, including managing limited samples using the latest practice guidelines. Participants will review core concepts such as karyotyping, FISH probe design in identifying high-risk abnormalities in multiple myeloma. The CAP Job Prep Boot Camp equips early career pathologists and those taking on new roles with the practical skills and confidence needed to succeed in general practice. Led by expert faculty, this immersive program features real world cases and interactive sessions designed to strengthen diagnostic certainty in anatomic and select areas of clinical pathology. Participants will also receive guidance on communication, leadership and career navigation to support long-term professional growth. Offered as a supportive virtual experience, the Job Prep Boot Camp takes place May 2nd and 3rd and May 16th and 17th and offers the opportunity to earn CME credit. For CAP members looking to advocate for themselves, their peers and the future of pathology, there is one meeting they can't miss. This year's Pathologist Leadership Summit is happening April 25th to 28th in Washington, D.C. Members will connect with lawmakers, advocate for fair policies, and ensure that pathology remains at the forefront of patient care. And finally, a strong advocacy voice starts with strong membership. Renewing your CAP membership supports efforts to secure fair pay and advance policies that help both pathologists and patients.
