There are 6 main theories of how the Bible is inspired.
The first biblical inspiration theory is the natural or intuition theory.
The second biblical inspiration theory is the new or neo-orthodox theory.
The third biblical inspiration theory is the partial authority or partial inspiration theory.
The fourth biblical inspiration theory is conceptual inspiration theory. This is where we get the idea of dynamic equivalence translations.
The fifth biblical inspiration theory is the mechanical dictation theory.
The sixth biblical inspiration theory is verbal plenary inspiration.
How can we know which one is right?
Can we rigidly define biblical inspiration?
This King James Bible sermon will give answers to these questions.
