Parable of the Householder and why Amillennialism is WRONG! Matthew 13:51-52 explained

๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ Sermon delivered at Pilgrim Baptist Church on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 6:15 pm. ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ

This expository sermon on Matthew 13:51-52 looks at the final parable of the householder where Jesus teaches the disciples, that they are responsible to teach new truth as well as old truth.

This sermon is also a review of the previous 7 parables found in Matthew 13.

The big takeaway from this sermon is the understanding that we are NOT in the kingdom NOW. We are NOT in a mystery form of the kingdom. As Christians, we are part of the church, where Christ is the head.ย

At the end of this sermon you'll understand why Amillennialism is wrong and why there is no Millennium Now or Kingdom Now. The Amillennialist belief that the 1,000 years is symbolic and is happening now in a spiritual form is wrong. This sermon clears up that confusion.

Matthew 13:51-52 (KJV) Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
