🗡️ Sermon delivered at Pilgrim Baptist Church on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 6:15 pm. 🗡️
This expository sermon is based on 1 Thessalonians 2:13.
In this sermon you'll learn that the word of God is inspired and that God is the author, not man.
Psalms 12:7, Matthew 24:35 and 1 Peter 1:23 all show that God promised to preserve His word.
This sermon will bring out the contrast between the world and the word. The world, being dirty and the word, being clean.
The word of God brings wisdom, enlightening, truth, righteousness & satisfaction.
Finally, the word of God will work in YOU, if YOU believe.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 (KJV) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
