In the 45th edition of IndieRe we looked back at some of the exciting and prominent music releases and production of Slovenia’s alternative and independent music scene. First release presented is from our own record label ZARŠ: Various artist compilation Klubski maraton 2022, where we present different fresh or undiscovered artists and bands that are part of the Klubski maraton project in the year 2022. Next we highlighted an audiovisual trio Etceteral, a experimental electronic and jazz project that released an album Rhizome with Glitterbeat Records and we also spoke with Boštjan Simon a member of the group. Then we presented a shoe-gaze band Haiku Garden and their newest release Loose Contacts / Tense Present at KAPA Records. After we had an experimental techno duo Stagnat, followed by an interview with both producers Nina Lang and Peter Kalinski that are also co-funders of a local digital record label DE/FRAGMENT. We talked about 2 releases: A compilation of various artists from the DE/FRAGMENT label and their own release Subterranean Occurrence. Next we spotlighted a hip hop artist, singer and dancer Sahareya with her self-released debut Improvised Colors and last but now least, we presented a various artist compilation Clockwork voltage compilation vol.1 - Happy Little Voltages (self-released), that is connecting a community of diverse enthusiasts of modular synthesizers.
