Description

Arabesques, woodwork, paintings... : the Golden Book room brings together what remains of the original decoration of the Palais du Luxembourg. It was in this room that paintings and paneling from the former apartments of Queen Marie de Medicis, the first occupant of the premises, were installed in 1817.
