And we will be your hosts. We are so excited to finally open our doors to you and welcome you into the Spookery. All right, so first things first, what is the Spookery?

Well, I'm so glad you asked. The Spookery is a virtual archive, a vast library of spooky stories for a variety of subjects. Or at least it will be. Right now our shelves are a little bare, but every week Alana and I will be swapping stories to add to our shelves. And these stories will vary from week to week and can be anything from true crime, the paranormal, cursed objects.

Or cryptids, folklore, extraterrestrials, to even the most bizarre what-the-fuck cases. We will organize these episodes into seasons. Each season will have 12 episodes, so six stories each, plus a recap episode at the end where we will discuss changes, updates, and corrections. Episodes will be released into the void every Monday at 12 a.m. PST, 3 a.m. EST, every week, every month, for all eternity, until we die. Other editor created a break that we will take after each season.

Exactly right. Just so we have time to catch up on research, recharge our batteries, or account for anything unexpected that might happen mid-season. So, how do we decide our categories? Well, Alana and I have wheeled in, pun intended, our lovely Spookery Prize wheel, TM, filled with all 26 of our categories. And at the end of each episode, we will spin the wheel, and whatever it lands on will be what we talk about next week.

Fret not, the categories are very broad, so don't worry if both of us end up getting the same category in one season. Lady and I have very different perspectives on spooky stories, so you're guaranteed to get a very different take and choice of case.
