Description
I was supposed to spend my life in an engineering department calculating the stress resistance of aircraft parts.
I ended up working on passenger experience instead, from airports and disruptions to baggage, digital journeys, customer satisfaction, and everything that happens when a good idea meets operational reality.
(And I loved it.)
I'm Malek Trimeche, and The Gate Talk is where I explore how passenger experience really works in aviation.
Some episodes are just me, sharing stories from the field, unpacking concepts like IROPS or NPS, and talking about what I've learned, what I got wrong, and what I'm still trying to understand.
Others are conversations with the people shaping passenger experience: airline and airport professionals, frontline teams, tech companies, entrepreneurs, and other voices from across the industry.
We’ll talk about the passenger experience we design, the operational reality behind it, the technology changing the industry and everything that happens in between.
My goal? Share actionable tools, debate, and put the human touch back at the center, at a time when AI is on everyone's lips.
The Gate Talk is for you if:
- you work in aviation, CX, operations, digital or tech and want to hear how others are tackling similar challenges;
- you're new to passenger experience and want to understand the industry beyond the acronyms and PowerPoint slides;
- you build solutions for aviation and want to better understand the reality on the other side;
- or you're simply curious about what actually happens behind the passenger journey.
Take a seat. Let’s talk aviation.
