Description
THA #100
Tom Joy, a seasoned police officer, takes us on a drive through his old precinct on Long Island. As we pass by, he shares the story of Patrolman George A. Freeze, after whom the precinct is named. Freeze tragically lost his life responding to a domestic violence call. Joy reflects on the area's history and the bravery of his colleagues. Despite perceptions of good and bad areas, he emphasizes that most residents are good people seeking safety. Joy, also an Army veteran, speaks proudly of the community relations role and the high approval ratings of the Suffolk County Police Department.
