  who that to the who that nation welcome to the who that say podcast your podcast for the new orleans saints here on the kb radio network i am your fellow who that and host kevin reed and finally we are here the 2026 new orleans saints regular season is amongst us as We prepare on September the 13th against the Detroit Lions in Motor City where we will kick off our 60th season in the NFL. The New Orleans Saints are coming off a 6-11 season last year in head coach Kellen Moore's freshman year as the Saints head coach. It was a very interesting year, to say the least. You know, we drafted Tyler Shuck. He was projected to be our quarterback of the future. We'll see. But we've arrived to the sophomore season for both of these guys. You know, can Kellen Moore improve upon that 6-11 record from last season? Can Tyler Shuck show? that he is the guy you know because there's still a lot of question marks surrounding tyler shuck yeah he looked really really good at the end of the season he turned me into a fan i had my doubts you know when they drafted him and still have my doubts to this day because if you really look at who he beat in those final what five games of the season uh at least on that five to six run we went on. or five to one run in the last six i i don't think we beat a playoff team we didn't we didn't win uh win a game against a team with a winning record and so how will he stand up against real quality teams you know we have a lot of teams on our schedule this year that are projected to be contenders not just in their division not just playoff contenders but actual contenders for that Super Bowl championship. So it's not going to be an easy, easy road for Tyler Shuck or for Kellen Moore or the New Orleans Saints as a whole. So there's going to be some questions. Speaking of questions, the big question is, will the Saints contend for the NFC South this year? Will they finally break this five-year drought? of not winning the division and not going to the playoffs five years it's been since the saints have been it feels like 50 it's been that long since the saints have played in the postseason and that's that we're not used to that anymore yeah the first what 40 years of our existence here in the NFL, of course, yeah, we didn't have too many appearances. You can count on one hand how many appearances we had before Sean Payton and Drew Brees came into the picture. And once those two got here in New Orleans, it was almost every year. You know, with the exception, I think, what, three years out of the 10 that they were here? And so we've gotten used to being contenders. Even capping it off with a Super Bowl in 2009. So, for us to fall off this fast, you know, this low, it was a culture shock, man. This was a real blow to a lot of Saints fans and especially me. I can't speak for everybody, but for me, I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that the New Orleans Saints are one of the worst teams in the league. You know, at least we were for these last five years. Or four and a half, I'll put it that way. Because at the end of last season, I felt something that I hadn't felt in a very long time. And that was hope. I felt like the Saints were on the right track. Then when we get into the offseason and you look at all the moves they made in free agency. Once again, another thing that the Saints were unable to do for many years because we were always over the cap. We couldn't bring in a water boy. You know, we couldn't sign the kid to go run out and put the tee out for the kickoff. We didn't have any money for years because we had our money wrapped up in all of these bad, old, aging contracts. it we we were suffering this was the first time in a very long time that the saints had money to play with and boy did they play they addressed a lot of issues um shots out to mickey loomis who i am well publicized with saying especially over the course of the last five years i wanted to strangle him i thought he was the worst gm in football i mean he's still not in the top 10 in my eyes but he he did better This offseason was a vast improvement. He actually addressed a lot of needs, and I think he deserves some credit. You know, I'm going to give him a pat on the back and give credit what credit is due. We needed a punter. Went and grabbed a punter in Ryan Wright. We addressed the running back room, which we are just, my God, I don't know what it is. We can't keep a hip. healthy body in that running back room to save our lives. And that's from Alvin Camaro on down. But you bring in Travis Eachin from Jacksonville, a real good running back quality back can do basically everything Alvin Camaro can do. So not to the degree, I'm not comparing the two, but you can still see how the saints are kind of. sticking with that mold uh we needed help on that offensive line you brought in one of the best offensive linemen if not the best offensive lineman in free agency with david edwards uh from buffalo he spent time protecting josh allen keeping him upright so that was a good pickup you brought in no offense at uh tight end a good pickup as well you brought back kate and ellis you know he went over he crossed him enemy lines and went to Atlanta and played phenomenal. I couldn't stand it, watching him over there playing the way he was. But you brought him back this offseason, and you needed to bring him back because we lost one of our greatest linebackers. Well, yeah, one of the greatest linebackers we had. And I know that's a weird thing to say because when you look at the Dome Patrol when we had four of them who are Hall of Fame qualities. That's why I'm not going to say he was the best linebacker that we ever had, but he's certainly one of the best that we ever had. Lost him. He went back to the Jets, the team that drafted him, for one last run there. And speaking of one last run, re-signing Cam Jordan for one last ride here in New Orleans. I think, I think. cam he tested free agency he saw that the market really wasn't going to shell out anything for a 30 something year old uh defensive end even though he's coming off a great year with double digits sacks i mean he's old he's getting older and as we saw in the preseason he he finally his his his body finally broke down on him and he's hurt and we you really don't have a timetable on when he's going to come back and it really stinks i really hate it because i hate the narrative that's been said about him like oh man why did we resign him he he's old he's staying hurt like they act like cam jordan stayed hurt his whole career this is literally his first injury ever it was bound to happen i mean he stayed upright for 13 years i I think his body was due before a little hiccup and you know it it just happened to happen now i'm glad it's happening now if it was to happen i didn't want it to happen at all but i'd rather it happen now than later on in the season when we really need him you know so uh good deal on that but i'm gonna try to blaze through this pre preview i'm not gonna linger on too much with it uh what we're to do today. is break down the roster that we currently have after the roster cuts that followed the final preseason game. Give a prediction. of our season we're going to go through the schedule game by game and remember people this is this is just a prediction you know we're just having fun with it it's something to kind of shoot for or maybe shoot to be better than you know depending on uh what your record says but uh but it's clearly a prediction based on today as it all stands today Because as we know, every week changes. You know, you have injuries that pop up, not only for the Saints, but for our opponents that week, you know, that can change the course of that game and the results of that game ultimately. So we don't know. We don't know what's going to happen throughout the year. Because if you look at last year's schedule, you would have said the Saints would have finished above 500. You know, if you look at the schedule. But they didn't. They didn't. And, you know, things happen, like injuries, the switching of quarterbacks, and other teams that you thought were going to be weak going into the season end up coming out strong. One in particular, the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots were basically in the same position we were last offseason. New coach, team in pretty much disarray. They picked top. five like us i think we were like one one behind each other in the draft and you your predictions were well they're gonna struggle this year just like we're gonna struggle this year they end up going in the super bowl you know and they played like it throughout the year they played like it when we played them uh earlier last season even though we played them pretty tight to be fair we played them pretty tight but uh ultimately we lost that game but it's all good So we don't know what the actual end result is going to be and how these teams are actually going to stack up throughout the year. But I'm just going to give my prediction on how the teams are set up now. So speaking of setting up, let's go over the depth chart of the New Orleans Saints team, the 2026 New Orleans Saints team, all 53 players. Uh, after the cut downs, starting with quarterback, of course, Tyler Shuck, Spencer Rattler, and Zach Wilson are your quarterbacks in the running back room. You have Travis Eachin, Alvin Kamara, Kendra Miller, and Estimate. Uh, Devin Neal is still on the team, but he is on IR. He is out for the season. Uh, poor Devin Neal. I, I. man these running backs just can't catch a break can they uh speaking of catching a break uh moving over to rod receiver our first round draft pick jordan tyson he is on ir but he is designated to return uh last the last report that we received was two months two months until he returns so around week nine ten ish middle of the season that's when we'll see Jordan Tyson towards the end. Maybe. We'll see. But the healthy ones, the ones who are standing upright as of right now, at least, is Chris Olave, Devont Vele, Braylon Brown, and Bryce Lance, who were just, I don't know, they took the preseason by storm. They took training camp by storm and earned roster spots. rightfully so i think those two will be dangerous in this offense as well as kevin austin jr uh bud means surprisingly was cut um during the doing the trim down i i don't know why because he looked good in the preseason that was a weird move but i know you know you can't save everybody uh mason tifton he's still on the team he's on the pup list So I don't know what's going on there. And tight end, you have Jawan Johnson, Noah Fant, Oscar Depp, and Trayton Welch. Offensive line, God help us. We have Calvin Banks Jr., David Edwards, Eric McCoy, Cesar Ruiz, Taliense Fuaga, Asim Richards, Jeremiah Wright, and William Sherman. On. injured reserve out for the season is barry wesley we move over to defense and on our edges we have chase young carl granderson cam jordan tyreek wilson and afni jenkins who are our two additions do free agency out on ir is the rookie standout in the preseason well for that one game it is Michael Hellman he is on IR for the rest of the season, which is weird. Well, I'm not going to say nothing because I don't want to snitch, but it's weird. All I'm going to say is I just saw him today. But anyways, we're going to move on. On the defensive line, you have Devin Gautreaux, Vernon Brockton, Christian Miller, Nathan Shepard, John Ridgeway III. And Christian Boyd. At linebacker, you have Caden Ellis, Pete Warner, Danny Stuckman, Isaac Starbird, and Chris Rump. On IR, designated to return, is Jalen Ford. And, boy, I want him to return because he looked good in preseason. He looked good, at least in that first one. He looked really, really good, and I was excited, you know, because I was looking for him last year. I think he was hurt last year. And... He comes this year, the preseason. I'm like, oh, man, he's all over the field. Oh, man, we got something. Next thing I know, he's out. Oh, my God. But he is designated to return, so fingers crossed with that. And our secondary, starting at cornerback, you have Kool-Aid McKinstry, Quincy Riley, Martin Emerson, Jr., Jaden Price, who has I don't know, man. He's one of those sneaky ones. He's one of those ones that I think we're going to be cheering and celebrating that we got for years to come. I think he's something special. I don't want to put too much pressure on him, but he's always around the ball and he's smart. Very, very smart. So I'm very excited about him. Michael Reed, no relation. And we have two players. who are out on IR for the season. That is, uh, Dayless Bateman, Bateman, and David Long Jr. Uh, David Long Jr., I saw him getting torched in the preseason. Uh, but I'm not gonna knock the man. He's out hurt. So, I'm not gonna knock him too hard. I'll, I'll say this much. I'm glad they kept him over Isaac Yeldon. They cut Isaac Yeldon. Isaac Yeldon, once again, he was getting torched the whole preseason and he stayed he was getting torched when he was here a couple of years ago that's why we let him go he went to frisco and frisco saw he was getting torched they let him go we brought him back and i'm like what you brought him back for but uh they i guess they wanted to see maybe he got a little better but he didn't and they decided to cut him in our safety room you have Justin Reed. Also, no relation. Jalen Blackman, I'm glad to see him back and healthy. Jonas Sanker, Jordan Howden, and Lorenzo Stiles Jr. Saints brought in a new kicker as well as a punter this season with Daniel Carlson, a veteran who has a real good leg, very accurate kicker. I feel so much better to have somebody that you don't have to hold your breath and squeeze your buttocks. When the kicker lines up the kick and pray that he makes it. Because those other two kickers we had out there trying out during the preseason, neither one of them could hit the broad side of the barn. And that's with them leaning on it. It was horrible. Horrible to watch. But they brought in Daniel Carlson and it looks like all is well and good. Also signing Ryan Wright as our punter. So that wraps up. Oh, and long snapper Zach Wood. So that sums up the 53-man roster for the New Orleans Saints. It's a pretty decent roster. It's a few curious decisions that were made during cutdowns that I'm kind of scratching my head from. Trey Palmer and Bud Means. Those were the two cuts that I was like, why? Because they looked good. They were really good. They did bring back Trey Palmer. They signed him to the practice squad after he cleared waivers. I don't know what happened with Bud Means. I didn't see anything because I didn't look it up either. But I was hoping they'd bring him back. Nine times out of ten, somebody probably scooped him up because he is a really, really good wide receiver. I hate to see him go, but like I said, cuts had to be made, and plus the emergence of these two rookies. You know, you think of a Brown who they initially drafted just for special teams, and they put him out there, and like, lo and behold, he can run routes. Oh, my God, he can catch as well. And Bryce Lance, who, I mean, for somebody that size to be that fast, it's phenomenal. You cannot deny that. There's God's given talent there. And, I mean, it was going to be hard to overtake those two youngsters in that position. And so, with this roster, the Saints will pack up and head to Motown on... september the 13th to face the detroit lines this is the test the saints are coming right out the gate with a playoff caliber team a playoff team did the doubt did they make the playoffs last year i can't remember i think they just missed the playoffs last year but regardless they are a phenomenal team for the coaching staff is awesome we all know about campbell He used to be on our staff here under Sean Payton. So he is a really good coach, has that team playing just, I don't know, ferociously like a lion, no pun intended. And it's going to be a tough test, especially in Detroit. And I don't know. I don't know if the Saints have enough to overtake the Detroit Lions this for this kickoff weekend. uh detroit is a well-established team they they know what it takes to get there they've been there so they know what it takes to get to the top and the saints are still trying to figure it out they're still trying to figure it out i think the saints will lose this game uh opening week against the detroit lions um unfortunately start off the season oh and one we move on to week two September the 20th. the saints will travel to baltimore to take on the ravens this too is a tough one i told myself when i first saw this schedule i was like look this is a tall task but if the saints can split these two first two games either the first or the second i don't know which one and i still don't know saints could come out and beat detroit i don't know But my gut is telling me they're going to lose. But if they can split it, Saints might have a chance. But it comes down to these first two games. I mean, no rest for the weary. We don't have time to warm up. We need to be cocked and loaded week one. Okay, you lose to Detroit. We go to Baltimore. We always catch. fits with baltimore especially lamar jackson who it looks like he toys with the saints when he's out there playing us it's it's like uh a man playing with boys at times because he'll run clean over uh this is a different baltimore john harbaugh is gone there's a new head coach there's a new system uh i don't know i see this is one of those question mark teams i was talking about I don't know what Baltimore you're going to get. I don't know if it's the same style, the little unorthodox offense that they used to run where you didn't know if Lamar was going to keep it, hand it off, or throw it. You know, you didn't know. Or will it be more telegraph now with the more basic offense, I would say. I don't know. I don't know anything about their coaching staff and what system they run. But for some strange reason, just like my gut told me the Saints will lose to Detroit, the same gut is telling me the Saints will finally get past this Lamar Jackson hurdle and the Saints will come out victorious in week two. I think it's there. I think the opportunity is there for the Saints. And once again, you're making this turn. you're making all these moves you made all those moves in the offseason you didn't make those moves in the offseason to build for two to three years from now you made those moves for now and if you're going to solidify yourself as a team that is ready you cannot start oh and two you start oh and two it the rest of this schedule don't even matter it don't even matter because you're you're you're done you're done um but i think the saints will come out victorious with with them knowing that knowing they can't start oh and two they're gonna come out of swinging in baltimore i think the saints will beat the Baltimore Ravens putting them at one and one at this point of the season we move on to Sunday September the 27th the Saints will finally come home we'll finally be in the dome Caesar Super Dome our home opener versus the Las Vegas Raiders uh you get Clint Kubiak returning it's nothing dramatic about it clint kubiak was only here for a year as the offensive coordinator i don't think it was any ill will towards clint kubiak you know especially that year that year i don't blame clint kubiak for nothing you know it really wasn't his fault the quarterback was trash with derrick card you know then he then he got hurt uh your star receiver got hurt uh It was just a dumpster fire. But... He's returning here as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. You've got a new quarterback, you know, Mendoza. But I don't think Mendoza would be starting at this point, probably going to go with Kirk Cousins. And Saints normally, well, not normally, but more often did not get the best of Kirk Cousins because he's a statute. You know, you ain't got to worry about Kirk. It's a stark contrast from... the quarterback we're playing in week two to this quarterback here there are there are two different sides of the coin of lamar he'll squirt out and that's a wrap he's up the field 80 yards before you can blink kirk cousins he's stuck in concrete you know he's not moving he's not moving and so you can have a field day with that this is a team also on the rebuild you know moving a lot of pieces around trying to find their identity i think the saints defeat the raiders in their home opener bringing their record to two in one at this point so we move on to monday yes you heard me correctly who that nation monday night football saints first monday night game in two years october the 5th they play the atlanta falcons i don't care i don't care about that i don't care about them but in all truth for this it all honestly and here's a little spoiler alert for our division i don't think the saints are sweeping anybody in our division i think this division is so jumbled up into a mess i don't think i don't think any team can be dominant now if you if you put if you put their rosters side by side the saints should run through the division i think they should but i don't i don't know in atlanta atlanta is probably the worst team in the division their head coach i think is i think kevin scuffancy is overrated their quarterback room oh my god did you watch atlanta you in the preseason with michael pennix and two they both look horrible horrible it is already is already turmoil on their team they they are in a complete mess but with that being said i don't think the saints will sweep them and so i'm gonna go ahead and say well let me put it like this let Let me put it like this. If the Saints were going to sweep any of the... any team in our division, it will be Atlanta. But to play cautious, to be safe, and not throw myself out there, I'm going to say they're going to split with them. And with that being said, I'm going to give Atlanta this one. I'm going to say Atlanta wins this one. Now, we're going to win the one later on. Like I said, spoiler alert, we're going to win the second meetup, but we'll give this one away. I'll just mark this one as a loss. Saints right now are at 500 at 2-2. All right, cool. It's not the end of the world. Still, we're good for four weeks in. And so we move on to the fifth week of the season, Sunday, October the 11th. The Saints will play. play the minnesota vikings minnesota is another one of those i don't know teams you know i don't know what minnesota we're gonna get are we gonna get the team that went to the playoffs two years ago with sam donnell as the quarterback or are we gonna get the jj mccarthy actually he's hurt ain't he yeah he might he might not even play uh who went over there um oh who's the quarterback oh kyle murray kyle murray went over there no i'm not kyle murray no okay well i i say i say this because i just realized kyle murray's the quarterback i initially had the saints losing this we're gonna pivot we're gonna do a little pivot here uh the saints will beat Minnesota. And the reason they'll beat Minnesota is because of Kyler Murray. I am not a Kyler Murray guy. I'm sorry. He is not a good quarterback. Now, you can make the argument, well, Kevin, he beat the Saints twice. And you're right. You'll be 100% correct. Arizona beat the Saints twice. And they weren't because of Kyler Murray. It was because of the Saints. One of them was that Thursday night game against Arizona when Andy Dalton was the quarterback, and he threw 50 intercepts in the first half. Y'all remember that? Yeah, that's why he beat us that first time. The second time, I think it was, was it last year? Yeah, it was last year. I think it was the opener last year, and it was, once again, it wasn't because of Kyler Murray. It's just the Saints. They didn't know. It was the first game of the season, first game for Kellen Moore. What I remember from that game, what I take away from that game the most, is Kellen Moore going into halftime with all three timeouts when we were in scoring position, and he didn't use them. That's what I remember. It wasn't because of the Cardinals. So I'm going to pivot on that one. that one gets flipped saints defeat the defeat the minnesota vikings uh putting their record at three and two so far this season okay it looks even better they're three and two and we travel to new york city to the big apple to face the giants on october the 18th this will be uh another another toss me up The Giants, now we beat the Giants last year. That was our first win. That was Kellen Moore's first win as a head coach. I couldn't tell you how we won that game. One, the Giants, they couldn't hold on to the ball to save their lives. I think they had, what, three or four turnovers in that game. That's how we end up winning, and we barely won with all those turnovers by the Giants. this is a new giants team with a new head coach you have john harbaugh who's the former coach of the baltimore ravens he's now over there in new york you have you still have jackson dart who i don't like for multiple reasons but he's the quarterback over there he's a dangerous quarterback you have uh scataboo who's the running back the big bruiser the the uh Mike Allstott 2.0, I guess you can say, but he's coming off of an injury last season. Yeah, I don't know about this one. I would say I would want the Saints to win it, but I don't think they are. The Saints will lose to the Giants. I don't have a score, but so that'll bring the... I'm looking at the record, I like the score. But the record at this point, plus the Saints at... 3-3. And so they're dead even. They're dead even at this point. The Saints then will travel to Paris, France. First game in France, Paris. You know the connection there with the Florida Leagues and New Orleans to Paris and all of their French, well, I say culture, but it's French. We're the one with the culture. They're France, you know. That's who they are. But the connection there, this is probably the biggest home game you can have for the Saints that's not in the Caesars Superdome. The Saints will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers with their new head coach, Mike McCarthy, who is teaming up with their, well, was it the Super Bowl? Yeah, the Super Bowl winning pair of him and Aaron Rodgers over there in Green Bay. They're back together again. That was 50 years ago. Aaron Rodgers is not the same Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers looked as pedestrian as you can get last season. I would say downright horrible, but I don't want to disrespect him too much. But this is not your... Unless I see something within those first six weeks, I don't see anything that scares me about the Pittsburgh Steelers other than TJ Watt. Outside of that, I think the Saints will defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris. It's going to be a lot of energy there in Paris. I think carrying that with them and the fact that the Saints are a better team on paper, I think the Saints will come out victorious, bringing their record at this point to 4-3. At this point, the Saints have reached their bye, and at the bye, they're above .500 at 4-3. That is an excellent, excellent start, you know, especially in this division. The one good thing working in the Saints' favor, they're in the NFC South. So with 4-3, they're probably at number one at this point of the season sitting there at... maybe I have a game in front of somebody or whatever the case may be. But that's a good start, man. You're already on pace to possibly win double-digit wins this season. Possibly. But we'll see. We'll see the rest of the season. Starting in week nine, on November the 8th, the Saints will host the Cleveland Browns. I'm not even going to go through this. This is. Cleveland Browns are probably the worst team in football right now. I don't have any confidence that the Saints will lose this game. Now, if the Saints lose this game, it's because the Saints lost the game. It has nothing to do with the Cleveland Browns. It has nothing to do with Deshaun Watson. Or at this point, it could be Shador Sanders. Who knows? If it's Shador, I feel a little more threatened, but still not threatened enough. to say that they will defeat our New Orleans Saints. The Saints will defeat the Browns after Dubai, putting their record at 5-3. Okay, at this point, Saints are on a bit of a roll. We travel to Week 10, and we get our second division game of the season on November the 15th against the Carolina Panthers. If you remember last season, Carolina won a division by default. Because somebody had to win. The Saints losing their final game against Atlanta is what clinched it for Carolina. It was the weirdest thing of all times. But they are a playoff team, technically. So they went on to get bounced, you know, one and done. But, you know, what I wouldn't have given to be in that position right there. Carolina did nothing. as far as I could tell, to move the needle for me, to improve their team. Nothing. Now, Bryce Young, he looks better. He's getting better as time goes on. I am really impressed with Bryce Young. But I don't know. I just don't know. I can't bring myself to say that we're going to struggle against this team. Well, it's going to be a struggle because it's a division game. You throw records out the window. when it comes to this division. But I don't know. I just don't know. But to keep my initial prediction... at the beginning of this breakdown saints are gonna they're gonna split with every team and so i give the saints the win in this week i think the saints will defeat carolina in our first meetup uh in week 10 and that will give the saints a record of six and three at this point and so once again saints are in great shape there are three games above 500 uh we're right right past the midway point of the season you what can possibly go wrong well everything because at this point saints go on a downward spiral in my prediction it is going to be murderous road for the next what six weeks of the nfl season uh beginning with week 11 we have to travel to chicago to face the bears yet again on november the 22nd the bears another playoff team coming off of a just phenomenal year i gotta give it up to them man they they looked phenomenal i gotta give credit to old da you know i he had that defense popping the offense was popping caleb williams looked phenomenal in the playoff run uh they just ran out of gas right just just too late You know, and I found myself, like, a little upset that they lost that game, even though I had no stakes in it. It was just exciting to see them on that run. But it came up a little short. They did make some improvements in the offseason, and I think that team will come out even better. Saints always struggled against Chicago, no matter who was the coach, who was the quarterback, or whatever. you It looks like this team has got it together. The Saints will lose to the Chicago Bears for the second year in a row. Saints will be 6-4 after Week 11. In Week 12, on November 29, the New Orleans Saints will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, who dat versus who day? Unfortunately, who day? will come out on top this week. Joe Burrow, if he's healthy. Jamal Chase, T. Higgins, and that just factory over there of weapons. I don't think the Saints can sustain all of that. Now, this is a question mark one, too. This is an iffy one, too. I was kind of on the fence with it, but I don't know. you know no well nobody knows you know how this team is gonna look come week 12 because bangles should be better than what they are but what stops the bangles from being great for being a playoff contender to being a super bowl contender injuries injuries that's what stopped them every single year and i feel bad for them in a way you know because everything is there for them They had all the pieces. Now, they did lose some pieces on defense. I think Trey Henderson is gone, ain't he? I think he went to, oh, man, why am I blanking on it? But anyways, yeah, I don't know. It's still a little iffy over there, but I don't think the Saints will defeat the Bengals this week, and that will bring the Saints' record to 6-5. We finally come back home in Week 13. on December the 6th as we play host to the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay Packers, another playoff caliber team, well-coached team with Matt LaFleur, Jordan Love. Jordan Love is hit and miss, very hit and miss. But when he's hitting, he's hitting. He is infragile, bro. He scares me because I don't know what quarterback you're going to get. there but even when he's off they still manage to be a really good team you know what i'm saying so uh because they were all coach matt lafleur one of the best coaches in the nfl that hasn't won you know hasn't even gotten to the uh super bowl yet but give him just a few more years i think he'll get there but as far as week 13 is concerned i think he will get the victory versus the new all is faint. the saints will fall to six and six we move on to week 14 the rematch against the carolina panthers we got to go to uh uh not atlanta uh to carolina this week and like i said before we're gonna split i had us winning the first one hence we're going to lose this one uh the saints will fall in week 14 to carolina placing us at six and seven so we move on to week 15 the new orleans saints play another division game on the road as we played the tampa Buccaneers for the first time this season on December the 20th. The only reason I'm saying the Saints gonna lose this one is because it's in Tampa and it's back to back role games in back to back division games. That is tough. That is a hard road. I don't know who made this schedule, but they need to be reprimanded. That is not right. It's not fair. So I have the Saints losing in week 15 against Tampa. Saints at this point are six and eight in week 16. two days after christmas on december the 27th the saints will host the arizona cardinals arizona is trying to find themselves uh you know i don't know i can't put a finger on uh uh the cardinals i don't know i don't know what team they are what kind of team they are i didn't really pay much attention to them in the offseason and To be fair, I don't think anybody did. Nobody really cares about it. Because you look in that division over there, everybody's talking about the Rams with Miles Garrett and, my God, Aaron Donald on the same line at the same time. That is unfair. Goodell should step in and put a stop to that. Everybody's talking about the defending Super Bowl champions in that division with the Seattle Seahawks. And you cannot forget. about the San Francisco 49ers. No matter what happens to that team, no matter how many injuries they have, they still find a way to win and still find a way to be in or around the playoffs. So that is a very tough division. And poor little Arizona Cardinals, they're just the redheaded step-tow. You know, they're just playing the background. But I think the Saints will win this game. I keep saying Carolina. Arizona Cardinals are not there yet. They're still on the rebuild, and I think the Saints can take advantage of that, especially putting an end to this little four-game or five-game losing streak that we currently are on. So the Saints will improve to seven and eight. We move on back to Atlanta. We travel to the ATL to play the Atlanta Falcons. a revenge game i had us losing the first one we're gonna smack them in this one here this one the saints will put the nail in atlanta's coffin first game of 2027 on january the third the saints will defeat the atlanta foul can'ts and putting our record at eight and eight so the saints has a golden opportunity here going into the last week of the season. 8-8 have another division game at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I believe this game will be for the division. 8-8 can definitely win this division. This division. Or should I say 9-8. So you need to really look around the division. at this point you know a few weeks before it is and see where everybody else is and really gauge where the saints are i think i know this is out the box the saints will defeat the tampa bay buccaneers at home to end the regular season at nine and eight ultimately winning the nfc south and get in our first playoff game in five years now what happens after that your guess is good as mine but i don't i don't i don't think the saints are above nine wins this season i honestly don't and now crazy things can happen you know you look at those eight losses that I have here. You can possibly make an... Argument for baby two? possibly three, that the Saints can actually squeak out. Like a, let's see, like a Giants, right? No, I had us beaten. No, the Giants. You can make an argument the Saints can beat the Giants. You can make an argument that the Saints can actually beat the Bengals. You can make an argument that the Saints can sweep Carolina or sweep Atlanta. So at that point, are you looking at 10 possibly 11 wins it's there for you but i think the floor for the new orleans saints is nine wins uh i don't i don't buy into that all the saints are a five win team this season there's no way i just don't see it i done went over this schedule multiple times multiple times since it was first released months ago and i i don't see what these analysts and pronosticators and commentators are talking about i'm looking at the saints and the improvements they made on this team they addressed all of their needs now does that mean that the saints are double gonna double their win total total this season from 6 to 12 no i don't think that's gonna happen you know but i think the saints are going to be a better team i think that kelly moore kind of figured it out even though he messed up this preseason he he bumbled this preseason i don't know what he was thinking about with all of those joint practices in such a condensed amount of time you know it was that's why we have so many injuries maybe that's not reason why we have all of the injuries but i can i'm willing to bet dollars to donuts That's the reason for a vast majority of them. So I think he's really starting to get it. He's learning from his mistakes, especially ones he made last season with this team. They could have been better, should have been better, and I think they're going to come out on fire. I think the Saints will win nine games this season. But don't put it in concrete. Don't chisel it in stone. Anything can happen. This is just my guess. What a... for the season i think the saints are that good though i really believe they're that good i think they can win this division maybe not dominate this division not saying they're going to clinch the division by week 12 and all this other foolishness just just humor me just think about it in its totality you know look at the division what team has really improved in this division outside of the saints saints made the moves Did Tampa? No. You got a bunch of disgruntled players over there. Baker Mayfield's disgruntled. Villa Villa, well, they gave him the contract, so he's happy now. But they didn't bring in nothing. They lost Mike Evans, you know. They got issues over there. Atlanta, they made the problem worse than what it was before. So they took about two or three steps back. And Carolina, they just there. They just going to play hard. throughout the season. I think they're going to be around. And so it's still going to be a tight race to the end. It's just a matter of can the Saints stay strong and finish strong? We shall see. But it all begins on September the 13th when the Saints travel to Detroit to take on the Lions. I can't wait, man. Football is back. Oh my god. This has been a long offseason. I've been craving football since the last snap. at the Super Bowl, bruh, in February. I really need some football in my life to kind of distract me from all of this craziness that's going on in the world right now. At least give me a Sunday. Just give me Sunday.
