This evening, I would like to read an extract of the biography of John Wesley whom all mankind recognizes today as a true and authentic servant of Christ.
I read it: "After the love failure experienced in America, John Wesley believed himself destined to single life… Later, in 1751, when he believes himself destined to marry Mary Vazeille, a widow who looked after him when he was sick: he decides the thing and accomplishes it after fifteen days. But all the qualities of Mary Vazeille proved then vain: she is jealous, and unintelligent... Mrs. Wesley suspects, indeed, her husband of all basenesses. She wants to impose a sedentary life on him, in order to keep an eye on him. She bursts into continual scenes, executing searches in his papers, steals them, appears without warning 100 km away from London, to check her husband’s faithfulness... She beats him, throws him on the ground, drags him by his hair, without him defending himself. She does not hesitate to provide her husband’s enemies with papers that she has seized. She leaves several times her marital home and Wesley has to beg her to return. This lasted twenty years. One day, she leaves Wesley forever. Wesley wrote, "She left for New York I do not know why, telling me that she will never return, I did not forsake her, I did not dismiss her; I will not call her back."…". Yet, according to the revelation, as soon as the wife of a pastor starts having that behaviour, this pastor must resign. But this cannot be the same for John Wesley because he is a prophet messenger. Look at the clothes of Aaron in Exodus 28 and tell me what clothes Moses will wear! You see? ...
Well. I said in a sermon that when God is about to send a prophet messenger on earth, the children of God are born in great numbers. And you wished to understand this mystery. It is a mystery! And if somebody has already talked about it somewhere, I do not know.
Well. Let’s suppose that God will send a prophet messenger on earth in the year 640. [Ed.: Brother Philippe draws a diagram on the board …] So in 640, a prophet messenger will be on the scene on earth. What happens then? I tell you that as early as year 600 already, the sons of the devil start giving birth to sons of God who were in their loins in virtue of the mystery of Genesis 7.
And among these very sons of God who are born is the saviour of the generation, that is, the prophet messenger. He is a saviour. That is why it was said to John on the island of Patmos: "…give homage to God. For the Spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus", that is to say, that every prophet messenger who comes on earth is the testimony of the Lord Jesus in his generation, manifesting Christ.
