Paul lays out some hard truths for the Corinthian church, that though they think they're spiritual, they're actually very childish in many ways. Their immaturity isn't just a neutral thing, they're actually harming their relationship and depth with God. There's way more of Jesus that can be had, and they're missing it due to their lack of growth. Implication: It is important that we grow! That we eat meat, not be stuck on milk.
