God designed us not just to feel happy at times, but to be joyful as a way of life. In a world of painful and brokenness Nehemiah chapter 8 not only encourages us to find our strength in the Lord, but shows us how to posture ourselves to live in his joy. If Jesus was anointed with the oil of joy, then we as His followers are invited to be filled by it and known for it!
