Description
A bedtime adventure for children about never giving up. A dragon who cannot fly, does such a thing really exist? Well, yes, it does. Pistache is perfectly happy gliding along just a hand's width above the ground, but the very moment it comes to climbing any higher into the open sky, fear pins him right where he stands and his wings simply will not cooperate.
With a great deal of patience, and his loyal friend Leo cheering him on from down below, Pistache begins to practise. He wobbles, he tumbles, he picks himself right back up, dusts off his green scales, and tries all over again. And again. And then again after that. Because you very rarely get something right on the very first go, and that is perfectly, completely all right. Leo never once laughs at his friend's tumbles, only cheers a little louder with each brave new try. Each gentle fall teaches him a little more, and each fresh attempt carries him a tiny bit higher than before.
Then, at last, after all those falls and all that trying, Pistache finds the courage to truly take the leap, and for one glorious, soaring moment he is actually flying high above the trees. The lesson lands as softly as he does: keep going, and you get there in the end.
This is a lovely, encouraging adventure about perseverance and gently pushing past your own limits, the kind that whispers to a child that effort and patience really do pay off in time. It is a tender, hopeful tale about trying, falling, and trying once again until you succeed.
It is a warm reminder that falling down is just part of learning anything new, and that every little wobble brings you one step closer to the moment it finally works. A heartening story to settle a busy day.
A screen-free audio adventure for children from age 5, lovely at bedtime or on a long drive. As always with Tilibou, the ending settles softly, without music, so your child can wind down peacefully. 🐉
