A bedtime story for children. Today, it's a little cool outside, and the wind blows ever so lightly against the window. So Mom turns on the heating: a little click, a soft breath of warmth. Emma rests her hand on the radiator. "Hot! So hot!" All day long, a warm breeze drifts through the house, from room to room. A perfectly simple day. Well, almost.

That night, under the quilt, the meadow is even warmer than usual, like a meadow in the middle of summer. Emma falls asleep with Mochi, her lovey, and the Evening World wakes up: the nightlight becomes a little moon, the rug a soft island. Mochi says good evening to Pantin, to Ball and to Nina, who finds the warmth quite lovely. And then, a sound. Glug-glug-clunk, goes the house. Ball goes stiff as a board. Nina's voice gets tight. Even Pantin, who is quite old, has never heard that before.

Mochi stays calm and curious: "Shall we go see?" And off they go across the soft island, all together, because together is more reassuring. Mochi in front, Pantin creaking with every step, Nina counting her steps under her breath, Ball bouncing a little less than usual. In the corner of the room, they find the radiator, all warm, all calm. It's the one singing. Nina rests her paw on the warm metal: it's actually gentle, not scary at all. A friend who sings deserves a name, says Mochi. Nina chooses: Glug. "Good evening, Glug." And Glug answers, softly, with a glug to say hello and a clunk to say good evening.

This night noises story shows your child that the sounds of a house at night always have a gentle explanation. The reassurance doesn't come from a speech, but from going to see, together, where the sound comes from, and then giving it a name. After that, the singing radiator is no longer a mystery: it's a friend in the corner of the room.

Back at the shelf, Mochi opens his Cuddle Box and picks the cuddle from the morning, when Emma rested her hand on the radiator, so happy. He winds it around the little fear of a sound. Pantin falls asleep in the middle of a story about grumbling radiators, Ball gives one very last boing, and the poc-poc slows down, with one tiny glug far away. In the morning, Mom listens: the radiator is singing. Emma listens too, delighted. "Glug!"

No one tells Ball that the sound is nothing, and no one pretends not to hear it. They walk up to it, slowly, side by side, and they say good evening to it: this way of turning a worry into something known is the whole spirit of Tilibou bedtime stories. And all the while, Glug keeps watch in its corner, singing ever so softly, like a warm little lullaby.

A screen-free lovey story for children from age 2, perfect to enjoy warm and cozy at bedtime, in the car, or before a nap. As always with Tilibou, the ending stays soft and quiet, without music, so your child can drift off to sleep without waking anyone up. 🧸
