Description
Ever wonder how your career choice stacks up against those with just a high school diploma? You're not alone!
Today, we are joined by John D. Russell, JD, a veteran association leader and government relations strategist and the Executive Director of AACS (American Association of Career Schools). We take a deep dive into the ‘Do No Harm Rule’ proposed by the Department of Education.
It’s not just another regulation; it’s a potential gamechanger for beauty and wellness schools.
With a staggering 92.5% of cosmetology schools failing this new earnings accountability test, we’re talking about a real threat to our industry's future workforce.
If this rule goes through, it could limit access to essential funding for aspiring beauty professionals, especially those from lower-income backgrounds.
Listen in to learn why these regulations need a closer look. Are we really measuring success fairly?
