🔍 "Climate Change and NATO's Future" : an analysis of the challenges climate change poses to the Atlantic Alliance, by a world expert in environmental security and security ethics.

🎯 Cutting-edge expertise: Professor of International Security and Ethics in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham, Rita Floyd is co-editor-in-chief of International Affairs journal. She is the author of four landmark books, including "The Morality of Security: A Theory of Just Securitization" (Cambridge University Press, 2019) and "The Duty to Secure: From Just to Mandatory Securitization" (2024).

Former Fellow of the Independent Social Research Foundation and Birmingham Fellow, she earned her PhD from the University of Warwick in 2007. Her research focuses on security theory, environmental security, and security ethics. She is a Fellow of the Institute for Environmental Security and her work is authoritative in the field of climate securitization.
