In the American ghettos, there's a desire to forget the hardship; people create, dance, paint, and sing. It's in the Bronx of the '70s that kids decide to dance to the breaks in soul and disco music. This is the wonderful era that saw the birth of a movement that has influenced my entire life: hip-hop.
